Behavioral Health

As parents we often worry about the developmental progress of our child and whether their behavior is age appropriate. Anita Williams owner and director of DragonFly Academy has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, (LCPC). One of the benefits to your child attending our academy is that with your approval they can participate in individual or group therapy; e.g. social skills coping and communication skills. Assessments and referrals to other community resources available upon request.

Behavior Environment Health Comparative Analysis (BEHCA), a science-based and holistic approach to better understanding the purpose of behavior change. BEHCA uses data-driven insights to make the connection between how environment and health impact behaviors (https://behca.com/). Parents, Teachers, and Administrative staff will have online access to have input and to check daily the observations made by each other on the child's responses and behaviors. Please visit the behca.com website to review.

Play therapy, sandtray therapy, art and music therapy will be utilized to engage each student in meaningful play, socialization, and reciprocation.
